I just ordered the book and its far too easy to miss the PROMOTIONAL CODE entry field in Brady's procedure. I recommend the video, it adds visual learning to the auditory description given by Darcy.

Yes, it came out to $65.60. . .

Darcy explains this on the NSP website on this public page:

http://www.nsp.org/about/OEC-Brady-Ordering-Inst.aspx

They sure complexified the ordering process for -25% (is that an actual word?). Click the VIDEO link to watch it prior to trying it.

I just want his family to know that George was a good man, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was sort of a father figure to me.

I didn't realize that George had died. He was a mentor to me. I was a member of the paid ski patrol at Stowe in 1949-1950. I was also on the patrol in the winter of "52.
I recall a trip we made to Tuckerman's Raveen with other patrolmen and George. He was a great inspiration to me. I'm 81 and remember him as if it were just yesterday. I last spoke with George in Rutland in the '80's or 'early 90's. The National Ski Patrol has lost a good man. However George has imparted his ideas and has made ski patrolling a better organization. Although I'm 81 and 1/2 and not skiing anymore, I still have a great love for the mountains. I live at the foot of Mt. Hood in Oregon.

Thanks Gerry for the article. Southern Vermont does not have any mention, I did read about it in the Rutland paper. Its great to see someone in Ski Patrol honoring George.

I remember seeing George on skis at Killington every year during the Eastern Division S&T Annual Meeting in December. This was well into his retirement years, he always came by to say hello, thank us for volunteering as instructors. He sure loved NSP and the people that continued to make it work.
